We are seeking a self-driven Receptionist and Hospitality Host to become a key member of our Front of House team at a leading pharmaceutical company's city office in London.
Role Overview
As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for ensuring all visitors, clients, and colleagues receive an outstanding first impression through professional and welcoming service. This dynamic role suits someone who excels in a fast-paced professional setting and consistently delivers excellent customer service.
Core Responsibilities
- Greeting and managing visitor reception duties by welcoming, directing, and announcing guests appropriately at the front desk.
- Preparing hospitality arrangements for events and meeting rooms to a high standard.
- Assisting with meeting room bookings and regular daily checks of the facilities.
- Providing meet and greet support during events to ensure smooth operation.
- Training new hires and Premier team members on front of house protocols and standards.
- Handling incoming calls by answering, screening, and rerouting as necessary.
- Managing orders for administrative, hospitality, and cleaning supplies.
- Performing additional ad hoc administrative or hospitality tasks as needed.
- Collaborating with service contractor teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Working Hours and Compensation
The position requires availability Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The salary offered is £35,000 annually.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills characterized by energy, focus, and attention to detail.
- Capability to give and receive instructions clearly and professionally.
- Experience managing reception duties and supporting tenant floor reception areas, tenant hubs, and meeting room floors in a corporate setting is preferred.
- Previous roles in reception, front of house, or corporate customer service demonstrated.
- Professional appearance and approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
- A proven track record of collaborating with service teams and contractors to provide integrated service delivery.
