Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas is seeking energetic, self-driven Front Office professionals who are ready to take the next step in their hospitality career. The Front Desk Agent role focuses on delivering attentive, guest-centric service and creating a stay that feels smooth, welcoming, and memorable from arrival to departure.
What you will do
- Deliver fast, polite, and efficient service to every guest, with the aim of building strong satisfaction through personalized attention throughout the stay.
- Welcome guests by name whenever possible and accompany them to their room so they feel expected and comfortably received.
- Provide room and hotel orientation, and help guests with enquiries or requests related to hotel activities.
- Keep current on hotel details and nearby services, including operating hours, offers, events, attractions, and other relevant local information so guest questions can be answered accurately.
- Stay aware of daily room rates and occupancy conditions.
- Handle front desk cashiering responsibilities carefully and follow all approved systems, policies, and procedures.
- Manage guest accounts from check-in through check-out, ensuring all incidental charges are recorded correctly in the front office system.
- Protect guest privacy at all times and ensure personal information is not disclosed.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, facilities, and current hotel happenings.
Education, experience, and skills
The role is best suited to candidates with a hospitality degree and prior experience working in the Front Office of a hotel. Strong spoken and written English is essential, and knowledge of an additional language is an advantage. You should also bring excellent interpersonal skills, solid problem-solving ability, computer literacy, and prior experience using Opera, which would be helpful.
The ideal person will be highly customer-oriented, proactive, and confident, with an outgoing, charismatic, and approachable manner. Success in this role also requires the ability to perform well under pressure in a busy environment, work effectively as part of a diverse team, and interact positively with guests from different backgrounds.
