Role Overview

This role is for a highly skilled freelance sales associate who may provide makeup application, skin care guidance, hair consultation, or fragrance consultation. The position blends artistic ability, product knowledge, and customer-focused service to deliver a warm, tailored in-store experience that informs, inspires, and delights shoppers.

You will work closely with a high-performing retail team to contribute to store events and help maintain strong visual merchandising standards that make the location stand out from competitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, engaging consultations and product recommendations in store.
• Provide makeup application, skincare advice, hair consultation, or fragrance consultation based on customer needs.
• Create a welcoming customer experience that reflects the brand’s premium standards.
• Support in-store events and contribute to their overall success.
• Help maintain excellent visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Work collaboratively with the team to support sales and service goals.

Qualifications and Experience

Retail experience is preferred, but applicants with beginner-level experience who can show strong creative and technical ability are also welcome. Candidates should be able to provide authentic, inspiring, and individualized customer service. The role requires flexibility to work retail schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and special events, in a busy environment. Prior use of retail point-of-sale systems is also expected. Applicants must be able to prove their legal right to live and work in Canada if selected for an interview.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base pay is CAD 17.75 to CAD 28.55 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week and adjusted as needed depending on qualifications, skills, experience, and budget.
