Job description
Role overview
Resort Mixers is looking for a Fractional Director of Brand Growth to work closely with the Founder and CEO and help guide the company’s next growth phase. This is a non-traditional marketing role focused on scaling a consumer packaged goods brand, improving retail performance, accelerating online sales, and building long-term consumer demand.
The position offers the chance to help shape an emerging beverage brand while operating in a flexible remote setup.
Retail growth
- Design plans to improve sales momentum with current retail partners.
- Build in-store marketing initiatives that encourage more purchases at the shelf.
- Help drive entry into additional grocery and specialty retail chains.
- Create merchandising, sampling, and promotional programs.
- Work with brokers and distributors to support expansion.
Brand strategy
- Own the broader strategy for brand expansion.
- Position RESORT as the preferred premium mixer for cocktails and mocktails.
- Develop campaigns focused on entertaining, hospitality, and inclusive social occasions.
E-commerce growth
- Increase Shopify revenue through email, SMS, paid media, and conversion improvements.
- Improve repeat buying and customer lifetime value.
- Build subscription and product bundle strategies.
Digital marketing
- Manage activity across Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, and newer platforms.
- Analyze return on investment and improve acquisition efficiency.
- Develop a growth plan that can scale across digital channels.
Partnerships and community building
- Build relationships with hotels, resorts, golf clubs, wedding venues, caterers, restaurants, event planners, tourism organizations, corporate gifting partners, influencers, and content creators.
- Create ambassador and influencer programs.
- Spot public relations and media opportunities.
- Coordinate product launches and seasonal campaigns.
- Help grow a community around the RESORT lifestyle.
Analytics and reporting
- Monitor and report on retail sales, new retail accounts, e-commerce revenue, customer acquisition cost, repeat purchase rate, marketing ROI, and social engagement.
- Share monthly recommendations with the Founder.
Candidate profile
The ideal person is both a strategist and an operator—someone who can create the growth plan and also help execute it. Experience scaling food, beverage, or other consumer brands is important, along with a strong understanding of what drives retail success.
Compensation and working arrangement
This is a fractional contract role with an estimated commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week. Compensation is expected to be $4,000 to $5,500 per month, depending on experience. A performance bonus may be available if agreed growth goals are met. The schedule is flexible, and the role is remote with occasional travel to Charleston, SC.
Success expectations in the first 12 months
- Expand distribution beyond the current retail footprint.
- Improve sales velocity at existing retailers.
- Increase nationwide e-commerce revenue.
- Launch strategic partnerships with hospitality and event organizations.
- Build a scalable brand marketing engine.
- Strengthen retention and brand loyalty.
- Establish RESORT as a premium mixer brand for both cocktails and mocktails.
Why this role stands out
RESORT is building more than a beverage company; it is creating a lifestyle brand centered on bringing people together. This opportunity is well suited to someone who wants to help scale an emerging CPG business, work directly with a founder, and contribute in a measurable way.
Application instructions
Applicants should share a resume, a LinkedIn profile, and a short note describing a consumer brand they have helped grow, including the strategies used and the measurable results achieved. If available, examples of retail expansion, e-commerce growth, or brand-building campaigns should also be included.
