About the Company and Role
Join a VC-backed renewable energy platform dedicated to accelerating the decentralized energy transition in the German commercial market. This opportunity entails supporting an experienced founder while scaling impactful projects with substantial equity participation and an eventual leadership path.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for solar photovoltaic systems, battery storage, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, including internal rate of return and leverage analyses.
- Prepare, revise, and enhance commercial term sheets, investor presentations, and data rooms to support infrastructure financing and transactions.
- Coordinate with external partners such as engineering, procurement, and construction firms, grid operators, and distribution entities to advance projects toward final investment approvals.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 4 years of experience in investment banking, infrastructure private equity, project finance, or within a fast-growing climate technology startup.
- Proficient in both German and English at native or near-native levels, with a strong understanding of German energy regulations and contract management.
- Exhibit advanced financial modeling capabilities and a proactive, hands-on approach suited for a dynamic and lean entrepreneurial environment.
Role Highlights
- Work within an established operation that has validated product-market fit and holds a large, pre-secured project pipeline in energy transition.
- Collaborate directly with a founder experienced in deploying significant capital into decentralized energy ventures across Europe.
- Gain significant equity upside with potential progression into a core leadership position as the platform expands rapidly.
