About the Role

Royal Freemasons is seeking compassionate Food Services Assistants to join their Monash Gardens team. This role involves delivering nutritious meals and fostering a positive dining atmosphere for elderly residents in a person-centred environment. The positions are part-time and casual with various shifts available across a seven-day roster, allowing you to choose hours that suit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Keeping dining areas clean and well-presented
• Preparing, serving, and presenting meals following the Food Safety Program guidelines
• Ensuring meals are provided according to individual dietary requirements and nutritional needs
• Providing high-quality customer service and engaging respectfully with residents during meal times

Candidate Profile

• Hospitality, food services, or aged care experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent communication and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Dependable, well-organized, with strong attention to hygiene and safety standards
• Genuine enthusiasm for supporting older adults

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (three doses) required before start; annual flu vaccination is encouraged
• Food Handling Certificate
