Role Overview

This part-time position offers a flexible seven-day roster and involves direct interaction with residents, emphasizing a person-centred approach to care.

Key Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas to create a pleasant environment.
• Prepare, plate, and serve meals following established Food Safety Program guidelines.
• Attend to the dietary and specialized nutritional requirements of residents.
• Deliver courteous, professional service during meal times to foster a welcoming atmosphere.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in hospitality, food services, or aged care is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cooperatively within a team.
• Dependability, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to food safety practices.
• A sincere desire to engage with and support older individuals.

Mandatory Compliance

• Possession of a current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination with three doses; annual influenza vaccination is encouraged.
• Valid Food Handling Certificate.
