Job Overview

This position offers permanent employment with work hours ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week. The primary language for communication is English. The role requires candidates to have completed secondary (high) school education and possess 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clean dishes, utensils, and other necessary items to service areas and prepare tables.
  • Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste units.
  • Clear and clean dining tables, trays, and chairs after customer use.
  • Manually wash and sanitize dishes and related items.
  • Keep track of food consumption quantities to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Package take-out orders efficiently and correctly.
  • Measure, portion, and wrap food items appropriately.
  • Prepare, heat, and complete simple food preparations.
  • Serve customers at the counter or buffet stations with professionalism.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars ensuring freshness and availability.
  • Take and record customer orders accurately.
  • Utilize both manual and electrical equipment for cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming food products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and products.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate storage areas including refrigerators and freezers.
  • Remove kitchen waste regularly and keep the workspace tidy.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required for food preparation.

Work Schedule and Terms

The role includes availability for early morning, morning, day, and evening shifts with free parking facilities for employees.
