Role overview
This position is for a food counter attendant at a restaurant location in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. The role focuses on helping customers at the counter, preparing simple menu items, handling take-out orders, and keeping the dining and kitchen areas clean and organized.
What you will do
- Wipe down and tidy tables, trays, and chairs.
- Store dishes in the proper area after use.
- Prepare packaged food for take-out orders.
- Portion, assemble, and wrap food items.
- Make, warm, and complete basic food products.
- Assist customers at the counter or buffet service area.
- Record customer orders accurately.
- Clean and disinfect kitchen spaces, including counters, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Take out kitchen waste and garbage.
Education and experience
No formal education, certificate, or diploma is required. The employer will provide training, so prior experience is not necessary.
Work schedule
This is a permanent, full-time position with 30 to 44 hours of work per week. The job may include early morning, morning, evening, night, day, shift, and weekend hours, and overtime is required.
