Food Counter Attendant

Role Overview

This position requires handling various food service tasks within a fast-paced environment including customer interaction and food preparation to maintain quality service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of tables, trays, and chairs promptly and effectively.
• Properly package take-out orders ensuring neat and timely preparation.
• Measure and wrap food portions according to standards.
• Prepare and heat simple food items, applying finishing touches for presentation.
• Attend customers at counters or buffet tables to take orders and serve food.
• Replenish stock in refrigerators and salad bars regularly to meet demands.
• Utilize manual and electric kitchen appliances to peel, slice, trim, and clean various food items properly.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Work is conducted in a fast-moving and energetic setting.
• The role is physically taxing and requires standing for long durations.

Experience and Education
