Role Overview
We welcome hospitality professionals eager to join the Food & Beverage team at the Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, situated in the scenic Hunter Valley. Multiple full-time and part-time roles are open, perfect for those aiming to develop their career amidst a beautiful resort setting prioritizing service excellence and collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities
- Providing courteous, expert, and prompt service in our dining venues, bars, and during events
- Assisting daily Food & Beverage operations including restaurant service and function support
- For Team Leaders, guiding and motivating team members to achieve outstanding service standards
- Maintaining food and beverage quality aligned with brand requirements
- Fostering an inviting and positive atmosphere for both guests and colleagues
- Ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards are rigorously upheld
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in hotels, resorts, restaurants, or other high-volume hospitality settings is preferred
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is mandatory
- Current Food Safety certification or willingness to obtain it
- Excellent customer service abilities with passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
- Effective teamwork in fast-paced hospitality contexts
- Positive mindset with eagerness to learn and improve
- Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- For leadership roles: prior supervisory experience in Food & Beverage is advantageous
