Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated hospitality professionals to join the Food & Beverage team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, located in the scenic Hunter Valley. Numerous full-time and part-time positions are available, giving you the opportunity to advance your career within a beautiful resort that emphasizes excellent service, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous, professional, and efficient service in restaurants, bars, and event venues.
- Assist with daily food and beverage operations including restaurant service and event functions.
- Lead and support your team to ensure high-quality service delivery (applicable to Team Leader roles).
- Maintain food and beverage quality standards aligned with brand expectations.
- Create a welcoming and positive environment for guests and coworkers.
- Uphold cleanliness, presentation, and safety protocols in the workplace.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality settings such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, or high-volume venues is preferred.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Current food safety certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Excellent customer service capabilities and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team.
- A positive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
- Strong communication abilities and attention to detail.
- Availability to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- For team leader roles, prior supervisory or leadership experience in Food & Beverage is advantageous.
