The Role
An opportunity exists for an energetic and self-driven Food & Beverage Attendant to join the team at Harbord Diggers in Freshwater on a permanent part-time basis. The right person will bring a lively approach, a strong hospitality mindset, and excellent customer service skills to a busy, fast-moving environment.
Key Duties
- Improve the overall food and beverage experience for members and visitors
- Prepare coffee and other hot beverages
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Carry out simple food preparation tasks
- Handle cash register operations
- Deliver meals and drinks to customer tables
- Maintain cleanliness and general presentation of the area
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience in a similar position and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding service. Experience as a barista or in cocktail preparation would be an advantage. You should have strong attention to detail, neat personal presentation, good communication skills, and the ability to stay composed while juggling multiple tasks.
You will need to work well with others, but also be comfortable working independently and taking initiative when needed. A current NSW RSA and RCG certification is required, or you must be willing to obtain it before starting. Flexibility is essential, as the roster includes days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
