Conditions of employment

• A one-year probationary period may apply.
• Completion of at least 4 hours of initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of joining, followed by at least 4 hours of refresher training every year.

Allowances and differentials

This role is covered by the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS). FWS employees earn overtime for hours worked beyond 8 in a day or 40 in a week, whichever is more favorable to the employee. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may qualify for Sunday premium pay. Employees may also receive extra pay when most scheduled hours occur after 3:00 PM.
