Job Responsibilities

• Provide consistently professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service to guests.
• Fully understand and comply with the outlet's policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of menus, beverages, promotions, and outdoor catering offerings.
• Assist guests by providing detailed and helpful information about menu items including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation policies both within the hotel and at external catering locations.
• Perform duties aligned with local occupational health and safety legislation.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines as directed by supervisors.
• Promptly report hazards, unsafe practices, defective equipment, injuries, or illnesses according to established timelines.
• Use appropriate tools and equipment safely to prevent risks to yourself and others.
• Utilize and maintain all provided personal protective equipment correctly.
• Prevent workplace accidents by monitoring for spills, keeping work areas clean, safely lifting objects, and using handrails appropriately.
• Maintain workplace organization and housekeeping by avoiding clutter and properly storing tools and equipment.
• Consult supervisors on any safety concerns or questions.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of international cuisine, buffet styles, and a la carte service.
• A minimum of five years culinary experience in a hotel environment.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Certified training in food hygiene and safety.
• Positive, enthusiastic, and guest-oriented personality.
