Role Overview
As a Food and Beverage Attendant and Barista at Mövenpick, your responsibilities extend beyond brewing coffee and serving guests. You act as a welcoming host, storyteller, and representative of our hospitality culture. Through crafting exceptional beverages and exemplifying the unique dining experience at BODA, you foster memorable interactions. Your ability to provide warm, personalized customer service while thriving in a dynamic environment helps bring the Mövenpick experience to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve premium coffees, teas, and specialty drinks to a high standard.
- Participate in opening and closing tasks, ensuring equipment, service stations, and inventory are properly maintained.
- Deliver attentive food and beverage service across the restaurant, bar, and café, enhancing sales through recommendations and upselling.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of our menu, beverages, and hotel services to confidently interact with guests.
- Communicate efficiently with kitchen and hotel teams to ensure streamlined service delivery.
- Provide timely, professional, and customized service to craft unforgettable dining moments.
- Uphold rigorous hygiene, safety, and cleanliness protocols in all guest and service areas.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering quality guest experiences.
- Barista certification and/or prior experience in preparing specialty coffees is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Resilience and adaptability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, pressure-filled environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible rotating schedule including weekends, public holidays, and multiple shift patterns.
- Professional appearance and enthusiasm for showcasing the hotel’s food and beverage offerings.
