About the role
Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin is looking for experienced candidates to join as Food and Beverage Assistants. This is the first Hyatt hotel in Ireland, set beside St Patrick’s Cathedral. The property features 234 guest rooms and will offer a restaurant, bar, meeting and event spaces, and a fitness centre.
The hotel operates within the well-regarded Hodson Bay Group and benefits from the Hyatt partnership as it continues building its presence in Dublin’s hospitality market.
The hotel is also recognised through the Fáilte Ireland Employer Excellence Programme and has recently earned Great Place to Work certification.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly, attentive way and help create a positive dining experience.
- Record and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and without delay.
- Prepare tables properly before service and ensure they are clean and ready for guests.
- Keep the dining areas tidy, well organised, and presentable throughout service.
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Join meetings and training sessions whenever required.
- Invite and use customer feedback to improve service.
- Handle payments and cash transactions correctly.
- Work closely with team members to deliver a high standard of service.
- Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Maintain excellent standards of personal cleanliness and appearance.
Requirements
- Must be eligible and available to work full time or part time.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Prior experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Genuine interest in customer service and guest satisfaction is important.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a busy environment.
