Role overview

Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin is hiring a Late Public Area Attendant to help maintain spotless guest-facing and back-of-house spaces across the hotel. This position plays a key part in keeping bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas clean, well-presented and consistently aligned with high hospitality standards.

The role suits someone with energy, initiative and a practical, hands-on attitude, along with a strong commitment to quality and guest care. Success in this position also depends on being dependable, flexible, well organised, self-driven and able to complete tasks within agreed timeframes.

You will be working within the well-regarded Hodson Bay Group, supported by the Hyatt partnership, as the hotel continues to grow as a leading property in Dublin. Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clear understanding of the standards expected in the accommodation department and deliver work accordingly.
  • Take part in department-based training when required.
  • Work cooperatively as part of the accommodation team.
  • Keep all public areas clean and presentable.
  • Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the required standard.
  • Vacuum rooms, corridors, lifts and stairwells.
  • Replace and replenish bed linen, towels and guest supplies in line with hotel procedures.
  • Carry out scheduled deep-cleaning duties.
  • Keep the housekeeping trolley stocked and organised each day.
  • Work with environmental awareness and dispose of waste correctly according to company rules.
  • Follow the correct process for lost property.
  • Inspect public areas and toilets regularly and take action where needed.
  • Respond to guest requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Observe hotel security requirements, fire safety procedures and health and safety legislation.
  • Support other departments as needed and help maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements

  • Prior cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Strong eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of hygiene standards, cleaning practices and health and safety rules.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and bending.
  • Guest-focused mindset.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Ireland.
  • Strong organisational ability.
  • Reliable work ethic.
  • Availability to work late shifts.
