About the Role and Company
Gochiso Japanese Restaurant located in Willoughby near Chatswood is seeking energetic and friendly floor staff to join their team on a part-time or casual basis. This opportunity is designed for individuals with intermediate to upper-intermediate English skills who can communicate well at work. Applicants with various visa statuses such as Working Holiday, student visas, permanent residents, and citizens are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers by taking food and beverage orders in person and over the phone.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and with a positive attitude.
- Operate the POS system with training provided by the restaurant.
- Maintain cleanliness by clearing tables and tidying the dining area.
Candidate Profile
- Must be friendly and maintain a positive demeanor.
- Quick learner with a high level of energy.
- Reliable and able to work well within a team environment.
- No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
Compensation and Perks
- Wage rates: $32.18 per hour on weekdays and $38.61 per hour on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
