Role overview
As Fit Out Site Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the daily running of commercial fit-out projects, from site set-up through to final handover. You will be the main site lead, keeping programmes on track, protecting quality standards, and ensuring health and safety requirements are consistently met.
You will also oversee subcontractor activity, coordinate site operations and logistics, and liaise closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to help projects progress smoothly and efficiently.
Key requirements
- Demonstrated background as a site manager on commercial fit-out or interior works
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, finishes, and M&E coordination
- Strong leadership ability and clear communication skills
- Experience managing several subcontractors and demanding schedules
- Practical, proactive problem-solving approach to site issues
- Strong focus on health and safety compliance and quality assurance
- Construction qualification or a relevant trade background
- Current Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification; SMSTS or an equivalent qualification is preferred
