Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist - Berlin or Frankfurt

Position Overview

Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding FinTech company as an FP&A Specialist based in either Frankfurt or Berlin. This role involves working in close collaboration with senior executives, providing critical financial insights, and contributing to key financial planning and analysis activities.

Key Duties

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the business.
• Develop and update comprehensive financial models, business cases, and perform scenario planning.
• Produce management reports that offer valuable insights to senior management.
• Evaluate financial results, identify profitability factors, and assess cost trends.
• Collaborate across departments including Finance, Commercial, Operations, Product, and Technology.
• Contribute to process enhancements, automation projects, and finance function transformation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Between 3 to 8 years’ experience in roles such as FP&A, Strategic Finance, Controlling, Transaction Services, Consulting, or Investment Banking.
• Background in Banking, FinTech, Financial Services, or other regulated sectors is preferred.
• Proficient in financial modelling, forecasting, and business planning methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Additional Desired Skills

• Familiarity with planning software like Pigment, Anaplan, or Adaptive Planning.
• Experience with automation and data tools such as SQL, Python, VBA, or Power BI.
• Participation in finance transformation or process optimization initiatives is advantageous.
• German language proficiency is a plus.
