About Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren Corporation is a global premium lifestyle company with a strong presence across apparel, accessories, home, fragrances, and hospitality. Over five decades, the brand has grown into a widely recognized portfolio of names and serves customers in many international markets. The company emphasizes inclusion, belonging, fairness, and the celebration of different voices through its culture and employee community programs.
Role Overview
Ralph Lauren is looking for a driven and highly analytical Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join the North America FP&A team in Nutley, NJ. In this role, you will support regional reporting and analytics, partner closely with finance and business stakeholders, and provide financial support to the North America Marketing teams. You will help execute reporting, consolidation, and detailed data cleansing efforts while tracking marketing spend and evaluating investment performance and ROI.
The position calls for someone who can juggle multiple priorities, work with precision, and bring strong finance and retail knowledge to a fast-moving business environment. You will serve as a finance partner to non-finance stakeholders and contribute to both routine reporting and broader strategic analysis.
Regional Reporting & Consolidation
- Prepare and maintain the standard North America reporting package for LRP/Plan, Forecast, and period-end close, including P&L models, KPI dashboards, inventory rollforwards, and ad hoc reporting needs.
- Perform detailed data cleansing and analytical checks to keep regional reporting accurate and reliable.
- Refresh monthly reporting and look for ways to simplify data pulls and improve Excel-based processes.
Marketing Finance & Analytics
- Work with Marketing teams to monitor actual spend, review invoices, and confirm media, sports, and regional marketing investments.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close by flagging expense reclasses and coordinating accrual support and journal entries.
Strategic Support & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Build working relationships with channel FP&A teams to gather insights that help explain regional results.
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly presentation decks for senior leadership, translating complex financial information into clear updates.
- Help create and manage company-wide T&E reporting, including analysis of key variance drivers versus Forecast and Plan.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting is required.
- About 1 to 3 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, and/or Accounting within a multinational or retail environment is preferred.
- Strong Excel capabilities, including data consolidation, VLOOKUPs, and Pivot Tables, along with solid PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with SAP and Hyperion/Essbase is preferred, and familiarity with Tableau or Power BI for dashboard support is a plus.
- Ability to serve as a trusted finance resource for non-finance partners such as Marketing and Media teams.
- Excellent organization, analytical thinking, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Curiosity to learn the Ralph Lauren business model and connect small data points to broader regional strategy.
- Comfort managing several deadlines at once with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong self-motivation, follow-through, and a collaborative team mindset.
