Role Overview

The Corporate FP&A Manager serves as a key strategic partner leading enterprise-level financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role supports digital finance transformation initiatives and equips senior leadership with actionable insights for strategic decision-making. It involves managing forecasting, budgeting, and delivering analytical insights, especially supporting Hanger’s accelerating Digital Technology (HDT) function undergoing significant transformation with complex operational and financial needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the annual budgeting and long-term strategic financial planning, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Manage the monthly financial forecasting and closing process with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with accounting to ensure costs are recorded correctly and comply with standards and policies.
  • Deliver decision support and analytical input for corporate initiatives using data analytics to guide business cases and strategies.
  • Prepare detailed monthly financial narratives, executive summaries, and insights for leadership.
  • Conduct corporate financial analyses including variance reviews, trend spotting, and monitoring key business indicators.
  • Contribute to the creation of KPI dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting tools.
  • Evaluate and enhance digital finance technologies such as planning software and data visualization platforms.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics, including exploratory data analysis, predictive modeling, and automation.
  • Support AI initiatives in the finance function by identifying opportunities for automation and data-driven insights.
  • Handle additional projects and assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 7 to 10 years of progressive FP&A experience at corporate or multi-divisional levels.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience managing financial reporting systems and close cycle processes.
  • Valid driver’s license or eligibility to obtain one according to company policies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced business degree.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data visualization, and VBA macros.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex finance and technical data to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an aptitude for new technologies.
  • Experience bridging business needs and technology solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Qlik for dashboard creation.
  • Knowledge of programming languages relevant to finance such as SQL, Python, R, DAX, and M-language.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in finance, including forecasting and predictive analytics.
  • Experience with enterprise planning platforms like Hyperion (Oracle PBCS).
  • Demonstrated self-directed learning and digital fluency (“Citizen Digital Talent”).
