The role combines market research, content production, media-facing commentary, and collaboration with marketing and PR functions.
Market analysis and research

- Prepare daily updates covering major asset classes, including macroeconomic themes, company earnings, central bank actions, and links between different markets.
- Write forward-looking commentary and thematic research across a broad range of asset classes.
- Turn complex market movements into simple, practical insights for retail traders.
Content creation for marketing channels
- Draft market commentary for local websites and social channels, choosing angles that connect to real market triggers and measurable audience impact.
- Support campaign content that aligns with marketing goals and performance targets.
- Help produce educational and product-focused material by contributing specialist market analysis, including approaches for short-term trading and long-term investing.
- Join video content, webinars, and short educational media when needed.
Media and PR engagement
- Deliver daily written commentary for journalists and clients, covering both immediate reactions and forward-looking perspectives.
- Act as a spokesperson for interviews, TV and radio appearances, podcasts, webinars, and live market commentary.
- Respond quickly and accurately to media questions about breaking news.
- Develop strong working relationships with financial journalists and media organisations.
- Support proactive PR efforts through data-backed stories and market analysis.
Internal collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, PR, and Business teams so that market messaging supports wider company objectives.
- Provide localised market insights to regional teams when required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in financial markets, such as brokerage, asset management, financial media, or research.
- Proven ability to create market commentary for external audiences.
- Strong knowledge of macroeconomics and multi-asset markets.
- Hands-on experience dealing with media or speaking as a public spokesperson.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills in English.
- Ability to react quickly to market-moving events with clear and accurate analysis.
- Strong analytical ability and a data-oriented approach.
Benefits
- Competitive compensation package.
- Work-life balance focused environment.
- Annual leave for rest and recharge.
- Employee referral rewards.
- Health coverage and pension support, along with location-specific benefits.
- Opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the world for 30 additional days each year, subject to certain restrictions.
- Two paid volunteer days every year to support community causes.
