About the Role
Lutine Bell is collaborating with a prominent Insurance company based in London to enhance its Financial Crime division. Reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will spearhead the daily management of the Financial Crime Framework encompassing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, and Fraud prevention.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the ownership and continuous improvement of the Financial Crime Framework and the associated Risk Assessment processes.
- Manage sanctions screening activities and provide oversight along with advisory support.
- Handle Suspicious Activity Reporting (SARs) and act as Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
- Supervise financial crime monitoring systems and collate management information.
- Engage with regulators, ensuring compliance through reporting and assurance.
- Offer expert guidance to business units on financial crime related issues.
- Contribute to strengthening financial crime policies, procedures, and controls.
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven expertise in Financial Crime within the Insurance industry.
- Hands-on practical experience with sanctions compliance.
- Background supporting or acting as deputy MLRO.
- Strong understanding of AML, CTF, sanctions, anti-bribery, and corruption regulations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience collaborating with regulatory bodies and senior leadership teams.
