Overview
A fast-expanding financial services business in Dublin city centre is hiring a Finance Analyst to support its renewable energy and infrastructure practice. This role suits a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working on a wide variety of deals across energy, utilities, infrastructure, and other real asset sectors. Experience in energy or infrastructure is helpful, but it is not a strict requirement.
What you'll do
- Create, update, and manage detailed financial models and valuation work.
- Carry out financial, commercial, and market research and analysis.
- Support due diligence activity and prepare transaction-related documentation.
- Contribute to risk reviews and help assess mitigation options across active deals and investment prospects.
- Review financial statements, performance indicators, and business opportunities.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, investors, advisers, and other parties involved in transaction execution.
- Track sector movements and market updates in the infrastructure and energy spaces.
What we're looking for
- Recently qualified ACA, CFA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- About 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction services, deal advisory, or a commercial finance position.
- Strong capability in financial modelling and analytical thinking.
- Previous exposure to energy, renewables, utilities, or infrastructure would be an advantage.
