Job description
Role overview
This role supports the CRM Manager and the broader team with day-to-day administration and coordination. The main focus is to handle incoming enquiries, keep the central tracking system fully up to date, and help ensure the business delivers a reliable, polished, and customer-centric service.
What the role involves
In this position, you will be the first contact for incoming requests and will help organise, record, and direct information across clients, suppliers, consulting engineers, and the external sales team. The job calls for someone who is well organised, takes initiative, adapts quickly, and contributes positively to a busy commercial environment.
Key duties
- Act as a professional and courteous representative of the organisation while reflecting its values in all interactions.
- Review incoming messages from a shared mailbox, sort them, and route them appropriately.
- Enter, maintain, and refresh client, project, and enquiry details in the CRM platform.
- Keep CRM records complete, consistent, and reliable so management and technical teams can depend on the information.
- Maintain clear logs of supporting documents and project notes.
- Build effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders while balancing their needs.
- Carry out other tasks and responsibilities as needed to support business priorities.
What you need
The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a customer-facing role and brings a strong service mindset. You should be highly organised, accurate in data entry, comfortable handling multiple stakeholder interactions, and able to prioritise effectively in a busy setting. Strong written communication, a professional manner, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach are essential. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is also required.
Preferred background
Experience in an engineering, construction, or technical environment is considered an advantage, along with prior exposure to CRM administration or customer service coordination.
