Role overview
This FP&A Analyst position plays an important part in keeping month-end activities on track and delivering the global outputs expected within the operating model. You will coordinate with finance partners to bring together financial information, shape the narrative behind the numbers, improve recurring reporting, support the presentation of results to global FP&A stakeholders, and handle a wide range of ad hoc requests.
The role also supports core planning and reporting work by building management reports, performing financial analysis, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting. The aim is to deliver clear reporting and actionable insights that help guide business decisions and support growth.
Key responsibilities
- Review business performance by comparing actual results with budget and forecast assumptions.
- Help maintain accurate data and enter figures into reporting systems for budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities.
- Prepare one-off financial reports and presentation materials for senior leaders.
- Take part in cross-functional initiatives that strengthen financial reporting and improve related processes.
- Contribute to the creation of standardized reports and control procedures.
- Collect, combine, and interpret data from several sources to support reporting and decision-making.

Skills and capabilities
The ideal candidate should bring strong financial analysis ability, a solid grasp of financial statements, advanced Excel skills, and confidence working with planning tools such as SAP or similar platforms. The role also calls for clear communication, strong attention to detail, solid troubleshooting ability, critical thinking, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-moving environment while collaborating across functions.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required. The role calls for 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or a similar function. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SAP is needed, and knowledge of accounting or financial planning is considered an advantage. English fluency, both spoken and written, is expected.
Work arrangement
This is a hybrid role based in Portland, Oregon. The schedule requires in-office attendance from Monday through Thursday, with remote work available on Friday. If the work involves a high level of collaboration or an in-person presentation, office presence is required even on Friday.
