About the Role
Serena & Lily, a rapidly expanding home furnishings brand based in Sausalito, CA, invites applications for the position of Financial Analyst within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this dynamic role offers a valuable opportunity to gain deep insights into and impact both retail and e-commerce operations. The analyst will provide essential financial support to business stakeholders and executive leadership to facilitate prompt and well-informed decision-making and drive financial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Take the lead on budgeting and forecasting activities, supporting the creation and upkeep of the company's financial budget.
- Develop and manage dashboards and reports for the monthly financial package presented to the Board of Directors, as well as weekly reports for internal use.
- Conduct cross-departmental financial analyses that highlight important trends and insights, assisting business partners by creating performance tracking reports aligned with company goals.
- Monitor and analyze critical financial key performance indicators, providing actionable reporting.
- Identify opportunities to enhance team efficiency by streamlining and improving processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of advancing experience in investment banking, financial analysis, or FP&A roles.
- Background in the consumer retail or e-commerce sectors is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and complex functions.
- Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP systems, particularly with budgeting and planning modules.

Compensation and Benefits
- The expected base salary range for this position is $105000 to $125000 annually, adjusted based on individual experience, education, and skills.

- Full-time staff are entitled to twenty-one days of paid time off and seven paid holidays during the first year.
