Key responsibilities

  • Review revenue, cost, and key operating metrics to identify trends and insights.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Build and maintain financial models and wider business analysis tools.
  • Translate analysis into recommendations that support business decisions.
  • Contribute to business cases, investment appraisals, and strategic projects.
  • Work closely with finance colleagues and stakeholders from other departments.
  • Help improve reporting processes and enhance the quality of outputs.

Candidate profile

The employer is looking for an ambitious, commercially aware finance professional with strong analytical capability and the confidence to engage with stakeholders.

  • ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Background in Transaction Advisory, Deals Advisory, FP&A, or a comparable analytical finance role.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling and quantitative analysis.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, or business planning.
  • Clear communication skills and strong stakeholder management ability.
  • Financial services experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A motivated, commercially minded mindset with a desire to grow in a high-performing team.
