Overview

This opportunity is with a finance team in Greater Dublin and reports to the Finance Director. The successful person will help deliver reliable financial reporting, management accounts, and robust financial control across several entities. It is well suited to a practice-trained accountant who wants to build commercial finance experience in a busy, fast-moving setting.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and related financial reports
  • Carry out balance sheet reconciliations and uphold effective financial controls
  • Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and payroll support tasks
  • Track important profit and loss costs and share financial insights with stakeholders
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Support the production of statutory accounts and external audit work
  • Develop KPI reporting and management information packs
  • Improve finance processes and internal controls on an ongoing basis
  • Take on ad hoc assignments and help guide junior finance colleagues when needed

What You Need

  • ACA or ACCA qualification, with practice training required
  • Solid knowledge of financial accounting and management accounting principles
  • Hands-on experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Strong commercial judgement and analytical thinking
  • Confident use of Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting software
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work to demanding deadlines
  • Self-driven, team-oriented, and solution-focused working style
