Role overview
This internship sits within the Controlling team at Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg and supports a broad set of finance activities tied to production, site operations, and the wider EMEA region. The position is centered on analyzing financial information, spotting trends and irregularities, supporting SOX controls, and providing finance assistance to teams across the business. The work also includes close collaboration with analysts and controllers on process enhancements and automation. A major part of the internship will involve inventory-related projects.

What you need to be eligible
You should be studying for, or have recently completed, a degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Data, or a related field. Strong English skills are required, and German is preferred. Prior internship or work experience in financial processes and/or inventory is considered a strong plus. You should be comfortable working with data, systems, Excel (including advanced formulas and pivot tables), Power BI, and SQL, or be willing to learn these tools. An analytical approach, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a structured team are important for this role.
Key responsibilities
The intern will help with financial analysis by collecting data from different sources, including large and complex datasets. The role involves partnering with multiple business functions to gather financially relevant information that affects results, supporting the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports, and contributing data for balance sheet reconciliation and P&L analysis. The intern will also assist with audits, working with other departments to compile accurate inputs, and will gain exposure to process improvement, implementation, and review. In addition, the position includes administrative support such as organizing spreadsheets and arranging meetings.
