Finance Executive - Credit and Collections

Job Overview

The role of Finance Executive in Credit and Collections focuses on managing corporate customer payments, resolving disputes, and ensuring timely collections. This position emphasizes collaboration with sales and management to optimize credit control processes and maintain accurate financial reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with corporate clients regarding collections and payment issues, including addressing their queries and resolving disputes.
• Process account refunds for terminated customers and apply offsets against active billing accounts as needed.
• Send payment reminders, issue demand letters, and coordinate service disruptions or debt collection procedures when necessary.
• Conduct credit evaluations for approval of sales orders and service requests.
• Assess and approve payment extension requests and installment plan arrangements.
• Allocate payments appropriately and ensure accurate and prompt reconciliation of financial accounts.
• Participate in Accounts Receivable review meetings with the Sales team to monitor and enhance collection outcomes.
• Assist the Manager in various ad hoc projects and preparation of management reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business, Economics, or a similar field.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in credit control and collections functions.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for managing relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
• Be proficient in MS Office tools; prior experience with SAP AR module is highly advantageous.
