About the Role

Lendscape invites applications for the position of Graduate Finance Analyst to become an integral part of our dynamic finance team. This role operates within a multifaceted finance environment involving multiple entities and currencies, focusing on financial control, reporting, and driving continuous enhancements.

This opportunity encompasses comprehensive involvement across the finance cycle, covering revenue management, management and statutory reporting, and participation in a significant ERP transformation. Furthermore, there is a fully funded route to attain professional finance qualifications such as ACCA or CIMA.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage billing operations for services including professional services, subscription revenues, and product enhancements, ensuring precision and punctuality.
• Maintain debtor information, distribute statements and reminders, and engage actively in credit control meetings to optimize collections.
• Foster positive client relationships to address payment delays and oversee aged debts, escalating critical accounts as necessary.
• Evaluate sales prospects and projects, confirming consistency with commercial contracts.
• Construct and maintain project frameworks with detailed milestones to accurately support billing and revenue recognition.
• Process, examine, and assign timecard data to corresponding projects ensuring proper milestone alignment.
• Reconcile accrued and deferred income accounts to ensure balance sheet accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with Project and Relationship Managers to ensure financial alignment with project goals.
• Address and resolve client inquiries and invoice disagreements promptly and professionally.
• Assist finance and broader business teams in deploying new AI-enabled ERP systems and streamlining processes.
• Support the smooth execution of annual audits and conduct finance-related ad-hoc assignments.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end finance procedures and daily business operations.
• Identify and apply opportunities to utilize AI and automation for improved finance workflows.
• Contribute to monthly management accounts and month-end reporting activities.
• Support analysis of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) to inform strategic business decisions.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting through detailed financial analysis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar quantitative field with at least a 2:1, or currently studying AAT.
• Solid comprehension of fundamental accounting concepts, including debits and credits, accruals, prepayments, and ledger operations.
• Strong numerical skills and an inherent curiosity to scrutinize and validate data.
• Self-driven with intellectual curiosity and the ability to work independently with initiative.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work despite pressure.
• A proactive mindset with ownership of tasks and commitment to resolving or escalating challenges proactively.
• Professional communication skills adaptable to diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enthusiasm for learning automation techniques in finance processes.
• Ambition to pursue a professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
