Finance Director - Food and Beverage Services

Overview

Our client, a diversified services group in the UAE encompassing Food & Beverage, Facilities Management, Cleaning Services, and Food Retail sectors, is looking to onboard an accomplished Finance Director based in Dubai. This role requires a commercially savvy finance leader to spearhead financial transformation, drive performance enhancements, and support business growth across multiple operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the financial strategy aligning with the overall corporate objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for multiple business units and contracts.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership for enhancing business performance.
• Enforce financial discipline through governance, internal controls, and performance tracking.
• Evaluate and optimize ERP systems to elevate financial processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Manage ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and continuous improvements.
• Identify and apply automation and AI-driven technologies to streamline finance functions.
• Create advanced reporting dashboards and tools to ensure real-time business visibility.
• Drive initiatives that enhance accuracy, speed, and quality of financial data and information.
• Analyze profitability across contracts, locations, and operations to pinpoint improvement areas.
• Lead cost reduction strategies focusing on operational efficiency, resource use, and expense control.
• Develop and utilize cost-per-unit models, contract profitability assessments, and margin enhancement plans.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and commercial departments to optimize financial results.
• Identify revenue growth opportunities and assist strategic decision-making.
• Oversee full spectrum financial operations including accounting, reporting, treasury, cash flow and controls.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and reviews of business performance.
• Manage working capital, cash flow forecasting, and maintain liquidity planning.
• Address financial operational issues that impact business performance.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, corporate tax, and other regulatory standards.
• Assess current financial status and develop restructuring and turnaround strategies to restore profitability.
• Lead balance sheet optimization, debt/equity restructuring, and financial recovery efforts.
• Support leadership in investment evaluation, financing arrangements, and strategic projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• Professional accounting certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA highly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS, UAE financial regulations, VAT, and corporate tax compliance.
• Extensive experience with ERP system implementations, optimizations, and continuous improvements.
• Proven capability to assess finance systems and implement process improvements for higher efficiency and reporting quality.
• Strong hands-on expertise with ERP platforms, finance automation solutions, and integrated reporting tools.
• Ability to lead digital transformation initiatives in finance by utilizing emerging technologies.
• Practical understanding and application of AI, automation, and advanced analytics in finance operations.
• Skilled in identifying and leveraging AI-driven and automation tools to enhance finance function scalability and effectiveness.

Compensation

The role offers a salary package ranging between 35,000 and 40,000 AED per month, inclusive of all benefits.
