About the role
This opportunity is for a commercially focused Vice President, Finance who will act as a trusted finance partner and advisor to senior leaders and business teams within a global organisation. The role is centred on helping shape commercial decisions, planning, forecasting, profitability reviews, and budgeting, while also strengthening financial control and supporting NEON’s growth objectives.
Strategic business partnering
- Work alongside business leaders to back strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational decisions.
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and decision support that help improve business outcomes.
- Offer commercial guidance to lift performance and strengthen profitability.
- Test assumptions and shape decisions using evidence-based analysis.
- Contribute to business cases for new initiatives and commercial opportunities.
Business performance management
- Review business results in depth, identify emerging risks and growth opportunities, and recommend actions that improve revenue, margins, and capital deployment.
- Assist with pricing reviews, cost control, and resource allocation decisions.
Stakeholder management
- Share financial performance updates and recommendations with senior leaders and business unit heads.
- Convert complex financial data into clear, practical insights for colleagues without a finance background.
Requirements
- An MBA and/or CPA/CA is preferred.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in commercial finance is required.
- Strong business judgment with a track record of supporting senior stakeholders in a complex, multi-entity environment.
- Ability to navigate complexity in a fast-changing business setting.
- Good cultural awareness for working in a global organisation.
- Experience in events, exhibitions, or project-led industries would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Background in leading and developing high-performing teams.
