Role Overview
We are seeking a Finance Business Partner who will play a pivotal role in steering technology investments that drive our digital healthcare transformation. This role bridges financial expertise and digital innovation, focusing on promoting strategic prioritization and solid governance of technology expenditure to maximize business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the CIO and IT leadership, acting as their key financial advisor and strategic collaborator in guiding technology investment decisions.
- Provide financial insights that inform and shape IT strategies, enabling evidence-based and impactful decision-making.
- Collaboratively develop frameworks for investment prioritization and capital distribution aligned with company goals.
- Lead the creation of comprehensive business cases for significant technology initiatives, ensuring they are financially sound and strategically justified.
- Manage capital allocation to ensure resources are directed towards projects with the highest value generation.
- Maintain responsibility for technology-related cost tracking and investment reporting, ensuring transparency and compliance with IFRS.
- Monitor technology budgets and investment outcomes, balancing fiscal responsibility with the flexibility needed to adapt to strategic demands.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of four to six years’ experience in finance, controlling, or related areas.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a practical approach oriented toward business needs.
- Experience or strong interest in digital business models, especially in eCommerce environments.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging senior stakeholders across diverse departments.
- Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous process improvement and a willingness to challenge existing norms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multinational setup.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards with particular emphasis on capital expenditure (CapEx) versus operational expenditure (OpEx) distinctions.
