Role Overview
Located at our Sevenum office and warehouse near Venlo, this position involves spearheading intelligent, efficient, customer-centric demand and supply planning across several warehouses and sales channels. Your role is to guarantee timely and precise product availability.
You will be accountable for forecasting, planning, inventory oversight, and managing supplier relationships to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce out-of-stock incidents, and ensure healthy stock turnover. By applying strategic thinking and data analysis, you will pinpoint opportunities for continuous enhancement.
Additionally, you will lead a team comprising 5 direct reports and around 35 indirect reports, enabling scalable, effective, and compliant operations spanning various countries. Your leadership will inspire teams, foster collaboration, and improve performance.
Success measures include high accuracy in forecasts, strong service levels, balanced inventory, and ongoing progression of planning procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end demand and supply planning to achieve precise forecasts, optimal inventory, and reliable product availability across multiple markets and warehouses.
- Enhance inventory health by minimizing stockouts, optimizing stock rotation, and managing forced acquisitions effectively.
- Implement and advance data-centric forecasting and planning practices to boost accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage supplier partnerships to ensure uninterrupted supply, mitigate risks, and strengthen cooperation.
- Lead and develop your team by building skills and driving exceptional performance.
- Coordinate across departments to align demand and supply strategies, working closely with Commercial Operations, Category Management, Strategic Procurement, Logistics, and Pharmaceutical Operations. Collaborate with senior leadership to align planning approaches, performance objectives, and business goals.
Candidate Profile
- Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
- Have a minimum of five years' relevant experience in demand/supply planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
- Proficient in analyzing planning, inventory, and supply datasets to guide decisions.
- Strong leadership skills with a record of managing teams and fostering cross-functional alignment in supply chains.
- Experience managing multi-warehouse and multi-country operations.
- Previous experience working in e-commerce settings.
- Willing to work onsite at least three days per week at the Sevenum location.
