Role Summary
The Finance Business Partner will be a key member of the ANZ finance team reporting to the Finance Director. This role involves strategic commercial partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain functions to provide actionable financial insights that drive revenue growth, margin enhancement, and overall business performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate extensively with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to deliver commercial insights supporting business decisions.
- Manage revenue and cost control activities ensuring precise tracking of revenue streams, promotional expenditures, rebates, and cost allocations within the profit and loss statement.
- Analyze financial data to identify patterns, variances, and offer recommendations that enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Lead pricing, promotional, and rebate analyses to support margin optimization and reduce revenue leakages.
- Oversee month-end procedures including rebate administration, accruals, financial reporting, and delivering accurate financial results.
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and rolling forecast processes by collaborating with business stakeholders to improve financial predictability.
- Produce detailed monthly reports and commercial reviews presenting findings and strategic advice to senior management.
- Create and refine KPI dashboards and reporting tools to increase transparency on performance metrics.
- Work with Customer Service and Accounts Receivable teams to identify and address revenue leakage issues.
- Champion continuous improvements in finance systems, workflows, and reporting techniques.
Candidate Profile
- Holds CPA designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- Possesses at least 3 years of commercial finance or finance business partnering experience within FMCG or consumer goods sectors.
- Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of revenue management, rebates, promotions, pricing analytics, and margin optimization.
- Experienced in collaboration with sales, marketing, or operational stakeholders to influence business outcomes.
- Exhibits strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with familiarity in SAP, SAP BI, and/or Power BI highly preferred.
- Adopts a continuous improvement mindset, actively seeking opportunities to enhance processes and reporting methods.
- Excellent communication and influencing capabilities enabling confident engagement with stakeholders across all levels.
