Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Field Specialist in Drilling Services with a focus on Directional Drilling. In this position, you will support well-site operations by solving moderately complex technical issues, reviewing multiple data points, and helping deliver drilling services safely and effectively.
What You Will Do
- Support drilling services portfolio activities at the well site.
- Apply working knowledge of wellbore placement techniques.
- Understand collision avoidance methods and how they connect with directional drilling work.
- Take part in advanced technical training and structured well-site development programs.
- Build the capability needed to deliver directional drilling services on location.
- Use knowledge of hydraulics and torque-and-drag modeling/simulations.
- Oversee proper handling and assembly of bottom-hole assembly (BHA) equipment.
- Apply understanding of well-construction tools and technologies such as hydraulic expandable reamers and circulation subs.
- Help drive communication and continuous improvement across the team.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in directional drilling.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Good teamwork and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Eligibility to work without visa sponsorship.
Work Arrangement
This is an on-site role supporting customer operations across the region. Your working pattern will align with customer site schedules while you are on assignment. Once a project ends, you may receive the opportunity to take an extended break before your next deployment.
