About the Role
Become part of a high-achieving team within the Industrial & Energy Technology division, specializing in products and services that enhance energy extraction, production, and processing. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand requirements and conduct necessary inspections or repairs.
- Execute onsite mechanical operations independently or alongside customer personnel.
- Inspect gears and associated components such as pumps and couplings.
- Perform replacement of parts in LUFKIN and competitor gearboxes, including bearings and bushings.
- Carry out refurbishment of LUFKIN and competitor gearboxes.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions or emergency situations promptly.
- Conduct vibration analysis to assess equipment condition.
- Oversee repairs and implement technical enhancements as required.
- Lead and supervise onsite teams, including client subcontractors.
- Document and prepare comprehensive reports following interventions.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Have 2 to 6 years of experience working with rotating equipment, turbines, or gearboxes within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Willingness to be based at the Baker Hughes facility in Dammam with travel commitments to various locations across Saudi Arabia.
- Demonstrate a methodical, organized, and rigorous approach to work.
- Exhibit autonomy and initiative in daily tasks.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.
- Availability for global travel up to 80% of the time.
- Capability to work under challenging environmental conditions such as extreme climate and dust, with occasional extended hours.
