Over time, it has played an important role in improving the uptake of life insurance, health insurance, and other insurance categories that were previously purchased less often.
Role Overview
This opening is for a Relationship Manager / Senior Relationship Manager in the Agency Channel with Policy Bazaar Partners, the agency distribution arm of Policybazaar. It is a full-time, field-based, individual contributor position focused on recruiting agent partners and generating life insurance business. The role will be based as per business requirement, and the working pattern is 6 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, contact, and onboard agent partners in the assigned territory.
- Generate insurance business through the network of recruited agents.
- Spend time in the field regularly to engage agents, provide training, and support joint sales meetings.
- Work toward monthly and quarterly business targets.
- Train agents on insurance products and on how to use the PBPartners portal and mobile app.
- Follow company SOPs and comply with all required business and regulatory guidelines.
Business Sustainability
- Improve partner retention through regular interaction and support.
- Meet renewal and persistency goals.
- Help maintain a healthy portfolio by promoting the right product mix.
Service Orientation
- Assist agents with service-related matters such as endorsements, policy cancellations, and claims.
- Work with operations teams to ensure issues are resolved quickly.
- Deliver a smooth and reliable partner experience.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant is a graduate in any discipline, including B.Com, B.Sc, or B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization. Freshers are welcome. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities are important, and candidates should be comfortable working in target-driven field sales roles.
Compensation & Benefits
The role offers a fixed CTC along with performance-based incentives. Local conveyance may be provided according to the applicable business SOP, subject to target linkage, business-unit rules, and policy changes.
