Role Overview
The role is for a customer-facing Field Sales Executive in the Home Try-On division. The job involves visiting customers at their homes, carrying out basic eye power checks, and helping them choose the right frames and lenses while converting visits into sales.
Key Duties
- Attend customer appointments scheduled according to the day’s route, typically between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
- Manage up to 5 appointments in a day, depending on daily volume.
- Travel to customer homes for appointments arranged by the company.
- Carry the company-issued kit bag on a two-wheeler, including refraction tools, equipment, an iPad, frames, and lenses.
- Handle an equipment bag of around 15 to 20 kg, optimized to about 15 kg, during field visits.
- Perform basic eye assessments, suggest suitable frame and lens options, and close sales.
- Work with both company-provided leads and self-generated leads in a 60:40 mix.
Training and Onboarding
A 1-month paid training program is provided before field deployment.
- Classroom training for 25 days covering eye basics, tool and machine usage, product knowledge, and the sales process.
- Field training for 8 to 10 days with hands-on on-ground exposure.
- Buddy support is assigned during field training for shadowing and guidance.
- After successful training, selected candidates begin field work from the second month.
