This opportunity involves driving the creation of competitive and precise bids to secure complex federal and institutional projects, contributing extensively to the company’s growth and backlog in a highly stable market segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive quantity takeoffs and detailed assessments.
- Analyze requirements from public and federal Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Manage the solicitation process with subcontractors.
- Develop and compile hard-bid as well as conceptual estimates.
- Engage in value engineering discussions for public agency construction projects.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience specifically in commercial or public works estimating.
- Expert knowledge of public bidding procedures, unit pricing, and an extensive network of subcontractors.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as On-Center, Bluebeam, and WinEst.
