About Too Good To Go and the Role

Food waste accounts for over one-third of global food production and contributes to 10% of greenhouse gas emissions, posing a serious threat to our planet. Too Good To Go aims to combat this by empowering people to reduce food waste through a unique platform that connects restaurants and food retailers with consumers to sell surplus food. With rapid expansion across Europe, the US, and Canada, the company has saved more than 500 million meals in 20 countries.

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Director of Logistics & Fulfillment to lead the entire logistics and fulfillment process for our Parcels business, overseeing transportation, warehousing, repacking, picking, packing, and last-mile delivery. This position involves defining global strategies, building partnerships, and enhancing operational performance in a fast-paced growth environment. Reporting directly to the VP Operations for Parcels, you will also be a key member of the Global Parcels Leadership Team managing a team of 15+ members across more than 10 countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and scale a leading fulfillment network by managing the full logistics process from inbound to delivery, including inventory control, repacking, and returns.
  • Develop and implement strategies for logistics and fulfillment that balance cost efficiency, service quality, and international expansion.
  • Adapt quickly to ambiguity by establishing structure, making trade-offs, and iterating as the business grows.
  • Manage a complex 3PL and carrier partner network by selecting, onboarding, negotiating, and governing contracts.
  • Establish operational standards with partners, including facility design, SOPs, WMS integration, and capacity planning.
  • Drive regular business reviews and enforce partner accountability through clear performance metrics.
  • Lead monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles to synchronize demand forecasting, supply planning, and capacity management.
  • Collaborate with commercial and supply teams to optimize inventory health and reduce waste.
  • Implement dashboards and routines to improve transparency and accelerate decision-making across markets.
  • Provide leadership and development to a global logistics team, empowering local leaders and collaborating cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Oversee complex projects such as carrier transitions, new market launches, system rollouts, and process enhancements.

Success Indicators

  • Creation of a scalable, reliable fulfillment model resembling modern e-commerce operations with strong unit economics and operational control.
  • High performance and accountability from partners, supported by clear SLAs and continuous improvement.
  • Effective service metrics, including on-time delivery rates and refund reduction, alongside cost-to-serve minimization.
  • Mature inventory planning with reduced write-offs and faster decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Senior leadership experience in logistics or fulfillment, preferably within e-commerce, food delivery, meal kits, retail, or food/consumer goods supply chains.
  • Proven track record managing multi-country logistics with multiple 3PLs and carriers.
  • Expertise in warehouse process optimization, including pick/pack, repackaging/kitting, layout, and capacity planning.
  • Experience with cross-border and pan-European parcel networks is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with global matrix organizations is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills for KPIs, dashboard creation, root-cause analysis, and disciplined planning processes (S&OP, capacity, inventory).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management with the ability to align teams and drive decisions effectively.

Personal Attributes

  • Strategic and hands-on: capable of designing systems and executing day-to-day operations.
  • Responsive and agile: delivering results quickly without all information perfectly in place.
  • Commercially astute: understanding unit economics, contract levers, and partner scaling considerations.
  • Resilient under pressure: managing peak times, partner issues, and operational challenges while improving processes.

Our Core Values

  • Collaboration: We succeed together by embracing a no-ego, unified team approach.
  • Continuous Improvement: We push for higher standards, break down barriers, and support one another.
  • Simplicity: Our solutions are straightforward despite ambitious goals.
  • Legacy Building: We take pride in the positive change we generate.
  • Care and Integrity: We prioritize looking out for each other and uphold strong ethical standards in business.

What We Offer

  • The chance to work for a socially impactful, certified B Corporation making a real difference.
  • An international environment with 1300+ talented colleagues across 20 countries and expanding.
  • Opportunities for significant personal and professional growth in a dynamic scale-up setting.
  • A culture of openness that encourages creativity and independence.
  • A supportive team atmosphere where achievements are celebrated collectively.
