Role overview

This position focuses on delivering a guest experience that goes beyond taking orders and serving meals. The goal is to create memorable service moments through attentive, proactive, and professional interaction at every stage of the dining experience.

What the role involves

The service expert supports guests by setting up tables, coordinating with the kitchen, serving food and beverages, interacting with guests, and keeping service and storage areas clean and organized. The role is designed to make every transaction feel like part of the overall hotel experience.

Operational expectations

Success in this role depends on maintaining a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and presenting a polished appearance and professional communication at all times.

The job also requires being active throughout the shift, including standing, sitting, and walking for long periods; moving across uneven, sloped, or occasionally slippery surfaces; reviewing menus and verifying details; and handling a variety of physical tasks. These tasks may include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing under 50 pounds without assistance, as well as reaching overhead, crouching, bending, twisting, kneeling, and stooping. The associate may also be asked to perform other reasonable duties as needed to support guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.

Education and experience

A secondary school qualification or an equivalent GED-style credential is preferred. Relevant work experience of less than 1 year is expected, and no supervisory background is required. No license or certification is needed for this position.
