Family Physician - Flexible Schedule with Immediate Full Billing for First 2 Weeks

Opportunity Overview

Welcome Medical Clinic & Burnaby Square Family Doctors is inviting physicians to join our group practice located at 105-7885 6th Street, Burnaby, British Columbia. We offer a long-term locum position (beyond 8 weeks) with flexible work hours, accommodating full-time or part-time schedules, including options to work on-site, remotely, or a hybrid combination.

Compensation and Benefits

You will receive 100% of your billings for the initial 14 days of work, a unique benefit designed to provide immediate and full payment without the usual wait time. Following the initial period, compensation is at 75% of billings submitted. Private fees for services such as doctor's notes, form fees, driver’s medicals, and uninsured visits are paid at 100%. Payment can be disbursed either the next business day or twice monthly, whichever suits you best.

Practice Environment and Services

Our clinic features a spacious, modern medical office with convenient free parking and uses the Oscar EMR system. The supportive team includes other physicians and friendly staff in a centrally located facility. We provide continuous longitudinal care participating in the FPSC portal. The practice offers both family medicine and walk-in clinic services, suitable if you want to start a practice or prefer walk-in patient care. The average patient volume is approximately 44 patients per day.

Position Specifics

• No emergency room, obstetrics, hospital, home visits, long-term care, palliative care, or surgical assists required
• This is a locum position based on billings with no minimum daily patient requirement
• No solo practice: you will join a group practice
• Language skills in English are required; additional languages are considered an asset
