Role Overview

The Family Medicine Registrar is responsible for delivering thorough primary healthcare services, concentrating on chronic disease management and preventive medicine. Daily tasks include performing clinical evaluations, gathering patient histories, physical exams, and ordering and analyzing diagnostic tests. Developing and implementing care plans, prescribing treatments, liaising with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring seamless care continuity within a home healthcare framework are core responsibilities. Additionally, maintaining accurate medical records, engaging in clinical audits and quality improvement projects, as well as supporting patient education and counseling, are integral to this role. This position requires full-time, on-site presence in Riyadh.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Possession of a medical degree (MD or equivalent) with accredited training in Family Medicine or General Practice.
  • Valid medical license or eligibility to practice in Riyadh/Saudi Arabia, inclusive of completed residency or registrar training.
  • Proven expertise in managing chronic illnesses, preventive health care, and comprehensive family medical practice.
  • Strong capabilities in clinical assessment, diagnostics, treatment planning, emphasizing patient safety and evidence-based approaches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Able to operate within an on-site clinical environment, handle diverse patient caseloads, and adapt to home health care procedures.
  • Dedication to ethical, patient-centered care and ongoing professional growth.
  • Competent in medical documentation and electronic health records; prior experience or knowledge of home healthcare guidelines is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is a significant plus.
