Welcome to the opening of our new Warehouse Stationery store in Whitianga, Waikato! Part of The Warehouse Group, which owns beloved brands such as The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, and Noel Leeming, we are dedicated to delivering engaging and relevant customer experiences across New Zealand. Our new Whitianga store, although compact, will specialize in serving local art and craft enthusiasts as well as businesses requiring office and technology products.

Available Positions and Work Hours

We have multiple exciting roles available across various functions. You can express your interest in one or more roles:

• Keyholder (Third in Charge): Support the Store and Assistant Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing duties. This role is a blend of retail leadership with some involvement in the Copy Centre. Ideal for a dependable, personable individual with strong retail experience and team motivation skills.
  Typical hours: Sunday (6 hours), Monday to Thursday (8 hours each day).
• Copy Centre Team Member: Assist customers with print-related services like passport photos, document binding, and other copy needs. The ideal candidate is patient, friendly, and tech-savvy with creative flair.
  Shifts available:
  • Position 1: Sunday (6 hours), Monday to Thursday (8 hours daily)
  • Position 2: Sunday (6 hours), Monday (8 hours)
  • Position 3: Friday (8 hours), Saturday (6 hours)
• Technology Advisor: Guide customers in selecting appropriate technology products using clear, jargon-free advice. A tech enthusiast or a motivated learner will excel here.
  Shifts: Tuesday to Friday (8 hours daily), Saturday (6 hours)
• Stockroom Associate: Ensure shelves are replenished and neatly presented. Manage goods receipt, maintain stockroom order, and oversee recycling and waste procedures. This role requires focus, efficiency, and teamwork.
  Hours: Approximately 25 hours weekly; 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

Each role carries specific duties but generally, we seek individuals who are reliable, possess strong customer service capabilities, and demonstrate a willingness to learn continuously. Prior experience in retail or customer service is advantageous as we establish our new team.
