Mott MacDonald is inviting expressions of interest from project planning professionals across Ireland and Northern Ireland for upcoming opportunities within its specialist advisory portfolio. The roles may be considered at different levels, including Senior Planning Consultant, Planning Consultant, and Assistant Planning Consultant.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Dublin or Cork, Ireland. The position sits within the Advisory and Programme Delivery unit, which provides project, programme, commercial management, and advisory support across sectors such as the built environment, defence, energy, water, environmental, transportation, health, and care.

What the role involves
The role is suited to professionals with strong project planning capability who can contribute to planning, monitoring, and control of project delivery. You should be comfortable working across project controls disciplines and supporting large, complex infrastructure programmes in multidisciplinary teams.
Experience and profile sought
The ideal background includes project planning experience across a range of industries and contract types, along with knowledge of estimating, risk management, and cost control. Strong commercial awareness, communication ability, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills are important. Familiarity with Oracle Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is expected. Experience across sectors such as water, transport, buildings, and energy is relevant.
